A simple pay-and-claim process

For a straightforward one-off consultation, most travel insurers do not arrange the appointment directly with us. You normally pay Costa Medical Services first, then make a claim.

The online medical consultation costs €39.

Keep your documents
We can provide a receipt and, when issued, you can retain a copy or photograph of the prescription.

Send them to your insurer
Submit the documents after your consultation or when you return home. Reimbursement depends on your policy.

Tenerife has important population centres in the north and south. Visitors commonly stay around Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas and Puerto de la Cruz, while Santa Cruz and La Laguna serve the metropolitan area.

Travel across Tenerife

Road journeys between the north and south can take time. If an examination, sample or imaging is needed, the doctor will explain what kind of local service to use near where you are staying.

Island time and pharmacies
