Telehealth, prescriptions, and medical safety in Spain

Doctors providing telehealth services in Spain must be appropriately licensed. Prescriptions are issued only after a proper medical consultation and only when clinically appropriate.

Spanish prescriptions by email

When medication is needed, your doctor can issue a digital Spanish prescription and send it to your email, helping you access treatment quickly at a pharmacy.

Clear clinical decision-making

Not every condition should be treated online. Your doctor will assess your symptoms carefully and provide clear advice, including in-person recommendations when needed.
